About Us

Happy Code is a global reference in STEM teaching – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math – with a presence in countries including Brazil, Portugal, Spain and the United States. It was created in 2015 out of the need to teach computer science to children and adolescents.

The teaching methodology is based on the development of 21st-century skills, working on key disciplines for training people to be better prepared to deal with the new challenges of the digital age.

The interactive courses on coding, game and application development, robotics, Internet of Things, cognitive computing and other subjects introduce students to an innovative environment. Through project-based learning, the content stimulates competencies such as reasoning, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaboration.

STEM Learning

The STEM concept emerged at the turn of the century and rapidly spread around the world, named for a group of key subjects for modern times: Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

With the fast pace of technological advancement and constant pursuit of innovative solutions, the development of skills found in the STEM fields of knowledge – the so-called 21st century skills – are increasingly needed.

“Even though I was studying at an IT school, it was at Happy Code that I was better able to grasp coding concepts, and today I get more involved in project development.”

MAURICIO YUKI – 17 YEARS OLD

Digital Literacy Student

“I loved the initiative of a 5-year-old class for the vacation course, because it sparked my daughter’s interest to learn how to apply technology, while still respecting her fantasy time.”
